Moody's Lifts City
St. Petersburg was upgraded to investment level rating Baa3 by Moody's international ratings agency, RIA Novosti news agency reported Wednesday.
The rating's boost spread also to Moscow and six Russian provinces, the Komi Republic showing one of the strongest improvements, with emitter's credit rating for foreign currency loans raised from B1 to Ba3, forecasts stable.
For St. Petersburg, the upgrade was from Ba2 to Baa3 in emitter's credit rating for Russian and foreign currency loans, with forecasts keeping positive.
